JOB SUMMARY: Core responsibilites include:
The Campus Safety student worker is a part-time, non-benefitted position that maintains safety and security of people and property on the college campus. They will patrol (on foot or by vehicle) the campus, buildings, and parking lots; they will provide escorts for visitors, students, and employees; they will watch for emergency situations, suspicious activity, and campus policy and procedure violations; and they will prepare reports and logs. This position will mainly work under the full-time position, but may have shifts where they are the only one working.
Compensation: $13.33/hour.
Screening Date: Open until filled.
Start Date: As soon after screening as practical.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: this position is Non-Exempt, i.e., is eligible for compensatory or overtime pay provisions of the FLSA.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

All employees of the College are expected to perform other tasks as assigned by their respective supervisor/manager regardless of job title or routine job duties.
