Core responsibilities of this position include:
Specialist, Grounds I position is a part-time non-benefitted position responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and visual appeal of outdoor spaces through tasks such as landscaping, lawn care, snow removal. The Specialist, Grounds I, operates equipment, performs routine maintenance, and collaborates with facilities staff to support a well-maintained, welcoming campus environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This position will perform on-call duties on a rotating basis.
Other tasks may be assigned based on contemporary institutional need.
Compensation: Starting wage is $18.41, commensurate with experience.
Priority Screening Date: Position is open until filled. This is a part-time temporary, non-benefited appointment to temporarily fill this position while the permanent employee is out on extended leave. This temporary position will last until the permanent employee returns or three months from the start date.
Starting Date: As soon after hiring process as practical.
